Walk to Soi Romanee

From breakfast, walk to Soi Romanee. Today it is one of Phuket's most photographed streets, with bright colours and restored heritage buildings.

Many visitors don't know it was once Phuket's historic red-light district, long before tourism later shifted towards Patong. That history makes the street even more interesting when you walk through it slowly.

Continue on Thalang Road

Next, continue along Thalang Road. Walk slowly, visit cafés, explore small shops, and enjoy the architecture. This is the main heart of Old Phuket Town, so give yourself time here.

Stop at the Tourist Information Centre

Visitors interested in Phuket's history should stop at the Tourist Information Centre. It is a useful break from the heat and helps you understand the stories behind the streets you are walking.

Finish at the Yellow Clock Tower
